Malaysian businessmen to set up joint industrial projects with Yemen

A Malaysian trade delegation arrived last Tuesday in Mukalla to explore available investment opportunities in the country. 

Board Chairman of Quality, Creativity and Exports Development Center at the Malaysian Ministry of Trade and head of the delegation, Yahya bin Ahmed, said that the delegation would treat the issue of the manufacturing industries in the country, especially fisheries wealth. 

He said that the delegation would discuss possibilities of setting up joint industrial projects with Yemeni investors in the governorate of Hadramout. 

The one-week visit came in response to an invitation from the commercial and industrial chamber of Hadramout, he said, and the delegation would hold meetings with officials in the Ministries of Industry and fisheries wealth in the country. 

He concluded his statement by saying that the visit would contribute to activate trade movement between Yemen and Malaysia.
