Setting up the second stage of underpasses of main crosses in the capital will be started in the coming weeks after the Parliament approved the loan agreement of the projects at the cost of $ 36 million, said Abdul-Rahman al-Akoa, Sana'a’s Mayor.
The Arab Fund for Social and Economic Development will offer $ 30 million and the Government will offer the rest.
Al-Akoa said that the tender of the project would be announced by mid of this month to carry out three tunnels in the capital.
He highly appreciated the concern expressed by the Parliament to approve the loan agreement for the project, affirming that the local council of the capital will do its best to achieve the project on time.
