€26 million worth electricity loan

The Cabinet, in its meeting held on Tuesday, referred to the Parliament a loan treaty worth € 26 million assigned for an electricity project between the Government of Yemen and the French Agency for Development in order to obtain the Parliament’s approval.

The project aims at supporting an electricity system’s generation and distribution, reducing electric cutoffs through controlling the system, improving the service and supporting Government efforts for reforming this vital field.
