Assistant Deputy Governor of Amran Baker ali Baker discussed on Thursday with delegation of German Technical Cooperation (GTZ) topics concerning water projects in the governorate and GTZ support in this regard Saba news agency reported.
The meeting dealt with future plans of protecting waters and Amran basin against bad use of water for irrigation. The meeting also dealt with cabinet’s decision for forming Amran Basin Committee to enhance country intentions for protecting waters and organizing their use.
Head of the delegation noted German role in supporting water projects and protecting them, pointing out that the forthcoming step would witness a number of activities and support to Yemen, namely Amran governorate.
For his part, Baker showed local authority’s readiness for providing all facilitations to bring German projects into success, highlighting efforts of the organization in water field.
