SANA’A, Aug.17 (Saba)- On Sunday First Deputy of Youth and Sport Ministry, Moamar al-Eriani, and Chinese Vice Ambassador to Sana’a discussed aspects of support provided by Chinese government for the Ministry of Youth and Sport within the framework of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, al-Eriani praised the effort of Chinese government to support the development process in various stages, highlighting the growing Yemeni-Chinese relationship in various fields, particularly in the field of youth and sports.
He pointed out that cooperation agreement between the two countries will expire next October, which requires bilateral talks to sign a new cooperation agreement between the Minister of Youth and Sports and the Chinese Ambassador. They plan to invite the Chinese Sports Minister to visit Yemen in the in the near future.
The Deputy Chinese Ambassador expressed his country’s readiness to develop cooperation in the field of youth and sports between both countries, affirming a distinctive relationship between the two countries in various fields.
He highlighted the importance of Yemeni attendance and participation in the international Olympics activities to be held after the end of the Olympic games, from 30th August until 20th September, with particular attention to people of special needs.
