Draft of Information Law to go before parliament soon

The NIC’s Board of Trustees emphasized the importance of taking information security into consideration, as information is a part of the national wealth.
The National Informational Center (NIC) Board of Trustees approved Sunday the submission of a draft of the Information Law to the cabinet for discussion, which it in turn will refer to parliament for approval.

The meeting, chaired by the Prime Minister Ali Mujawar addressed several topics concerning the issuance of legislations and regulations in information field, highlighting that they should be formulated well to make information development possible. 

The NIC’s Board of Trustees emphasized the importance of taking information security into consideration, as information is a part of the national wealth. He asserting the legislations must assist in spreading the information and making it accessible to members of society.
