World Customs Organization held its annual meeting

Yemen took part in an annual meeting of the World Customs Organization which was held in Brussels on the 25th through 27th of June.
 

Upon his departure, head of the Yemeni delegation, Chairman of Custom Authority Ali al-Zubaidi said that the meeting discussed issues related to customs, including a report of the WCO General Secretary and reports of sub-committees, mostly the Coordination Committee, Tariff Committee, Policy Committee, Anti-Smuggling Committee and Capacity Building.
 

He said also that the participants approved a plan for the next year and elected a vice Chairman of General Secretary of the WCO and its department chairmen.
