HCT approves tenders of YR 1.4 billion in projects

The Higher Committee for Tenders (HCT) approved on Wednesday tenders of three projects at a sum of YR 1.4 billion.  The committee approved the projected network extension of YemenMobile Company, which would cover 400,000 new subscribers at a cost of $1.6 million.

A secondary project was approved for Hodeidah province. The sanitation project stands at roughly YR762 million, and will be jointly funded by the World Bank and the Yemeni government.  The HCT also approved an asphalting tender proposed for Abyan al-Alm road in Aden province. The construction is set at a cost of YR 352 million.
