Revenues of Yemeni fish exports increased during the first half of 2010 to $108 million, compared with $ 105 million during the same period of 2009.
The increase comes due to the increase of exports to 48,000 tons in 2010, compared with 37,000 tons in the same period in 2009.
Deputy General Director of Technical Affairs and Quality in the Ministry of Fisheries Nabil al-Kawni briefed, in remarks to Saba, that the quantities were exported to more than 37 Asian, African and European countries.
He pointed out that the quantities were exported through eight land,air, and sea ports, noting that Aden Port comes on top of sea ports and Sana'a Airport comes on top of air ports.
