National exports increase

The volume of national exports via Aden port and airport during the first half of the current year is estimated at YR12,936,880,000 at an increase of YR 2,950,000,000 compared with the previous period.

A report issued by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Aden showed that the national exports included fish and dairy products, gum, dates and wheat bran.

It also included industrial products such as perfumes, zinc,aluminum and liquid milk.

These products have been exported to more than 33 countries, topped by China, Spain, UAE, India, Egypt, Tanzania, Germany, Italy,Tunisia and Lebanon, according to the report.
