40 tons of food confiscated

Office of Industry and Trade in Capital Secretariat confiscated about 40 tons of expired foodstuffs last week.

Speaking to Saba, Director General of the Office Khalid al-Khawlani said that a number of field campaigns have been carried out targeting shops and stores selling food and basic goods. 65 tons of expired goods were confiscated and destroyed from the campaigns.
