YGSMRB, Total Co. sign finance agreement

Yemen Geological Survey and Mineral Resources Board (YGSMRB) and Total Company signed on Sunday an agreement to finance an oil wing at the Geological Museum of the board.

Under this agreement, signed by YGSMRB’s Chairman Ismail al-Ganad and Total Company’s Executive Manager in Yemen Hatem Nasibah, the Total Company provides USD 83,670 to finance the implementation of the oil wing in the museum.

The wing, to be implementing over the next six months, includes the geology of oil and its exploration, extraction and use in different industries, films and documentaries about oil, providing the visitor or researcher with information on  how oil came into existence and its extraction in simplified way.

The YGSMRB is working on establishing the first Geological Museum in Yemen.
