The banking sector in Yemen is one of the promising sectors for investment, Ahmed al-Smawi The governor of Central Bank of Yemen CBY said during his meeting with board chairman of Bahrain Islamic Bank BIB Khaled al-Basam last Monday.
Al-Smawi welcomed partnership agreement that signed between the Bahraini bank and Yemeni Islamic Bank for Trade and Investment.
The agreement comes within growing Yemeni-Gulf ties in all fields.

He also pointed out to the achievements of the banking sector within financial reforms that Yemen has carried out in cooperation with its regional and international partners.
