The Jadal Cultural League organized a poetry and literature event on March 19 in Aden in honor of the arrival of Sana’a members, Khalid al-Syaghi and his companions.
Khalid al-Syaghi, Amar al-Moalim, Amar al-Jonaid, Faisal al-Thabahani, Hani al-Faham, Adil al-Jabri, Fahd al-Omairi, Mohammed Noma and Mahbob al-Rohi all recited poems at the gathering, accompanied by lute composer Fadhl al-Nahari.
The consultants’ executive manager, Motahar al-Sharjabi, gave the house speech.
Amar al-Moa’lim, the information office manager, and Abdulqawi Salem, the information office manager, also attended the function, as well as Poet Rayan Hajib and journalist Ashwaq al-Yarimi as the presenters at the event.
The visiting writers began their cultural trip to Aden by paying a visit to the al-Gamhoria and al-Ayam newspaper offices. At the al-Ayam offices there was a discussion over the possibility of publishing a cultural issue. The group also visited the youth house where there was a discussion of the promotion of partnership between the two facilities.
The group also organized a literary event accompanied by the lute composer at the Aden’s writers’ premises in Aden. Mazin Tawfiq, Amro al-Iriani and Fatima Nashir from Aden participated in the event.
