The school of Science and Technology held a ceremony honoring its top students at Al-Kheyoul Hall last Wednesday, June 17th.

The ceremony included several stages with singing, dancing, or other performances that were outstanding presentations by very talented students

"Our students are really creative and showed great discipline in rehearsals," said teacher Wafa'a Abdul-Malik, who prepared the ceremony with her colleague Ebtehaj Arrabyee.

She added that such events help students to have some fun and break the daily school routine.

The principal of the school, Mr. Mohammed Ismail, told the Yemen Observer that this ceremony came not just as a reward for the students who work hard the entire year, but also for the teachers who need to be appreciated.

At the end of the ceremony, the students held a fashion show of traditional clothes from several Yemeni governorates, including Sana'a, Aden, Hadramout, Taiz, and so on in addition to traditional clothing from China, Egypt, Ethiopia, the US, and India.

All of the students had time in the spot light, especially the two students who wore the traditional dresses of a Yemeni bride and groom.

The students faces told it all backstage. Students like Wijdan Jameel, Moad al-Sheikh, and Mahmoud Hassan expressed to the Yemen Observer their enthusiasm and happiness about such a ceremony.
