The Yemeni Center for Historic and strategic studies (Manarat) conducted a seminar on Yemen’s regional status after the recent London’s meeting and its results, and the expected impacts of the coming Ryadh’s meeting’s, last week. It was a chance to present analysis and recommendation from intellectuals and academics.
Ominously, participants asserted the key result for Yemen after London’s meeting which was that the meeting presented Yemen as a country fighting terrorism and being an effective participant in fighting all kinds of violence and intimidation. The seminar stated that Yemen’s immediate willingness in collaborating with this meeting demonstrated its compliance to put itself away from any kind of terrorism categorization. It also promoted the fact that Yemen stands strong ahead all sources of danger or risks threatening Yemen’s, the region’s and the world’s safety.
The seminar included analysis on London’s meeting and the coming meeting in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and its expected impacts. Ryadh’s coming meeting will focus on national, regional and international goals to be implemented in Yemen. It’s also expected to present political and economical impacts.
Academics, researchers, specialist and intellectuals attended the seminar. Dr. Mohammed Abdulmajid al-Qubati presented his analysis on what the both meetings contributed and will contribute to Yemen’s general status in the most crucial scales. He pointed out the significance for such meetings to Yemen that is setting Yemen as a real part of the international community and playing an effective role at the international collaboration.
“It’s very necessary for Yemen to have true partnership and more efforts working along with the international community because Yemen’s safety is a critical part of the region’s general safety. Yemen’s challenges and problems are related to many parties’ concerns,” said al-Qubati.
He also emphasized the need to offer alternative methods to enhance the public bugetxxxxxxx.
The key conclusion was encouraging more solid unity from all parties in Yemen to stand together against any kind of doubts of Yemen’s real intention to be a fighter against terrorism.
