Last week, the National Safe Motherhood Alliance conducted a 3-day training course on the Introduction to Management Concepts for 20 of the alliance’s members.
The training aimed at developing members’ management skills crucial for upcoming plans designed to implement the alliance’s goals. The course provided the members with insight into the basics of administration and management skills. The first session was on Strategic Planning, the second on Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation while the final session covered Financial Management.
Members consisted of governmental and non-governmental bodies who took the course with the intention of increasing their administrative capabilities to better apply the alliance’s objectives. The ultimate upshot was that the members were equipped with useful basic knowledge on administrative and management concepts.
