A group of female researches from the “Mail al-Dhab” center are conducting field research in al-Mahara governorate to document the Mahari language in their effort to identify the different archeological remains in Yemen’s governorates. Fatima al-Baidhani, the center’s General Secretary, explained while meeting al-Mahara local council secretary, Salem Abdullah Naimar, that  this project comes within the center’s plans which started with the center’s establishment in 2000 for the verbal legacy of mothers and children. The center has carried out a field survey for 14 governorates from 2000 through 2006.  Al-Mahara’s general secretary welcomed the idea and promised every possible documentary support.
