Now that Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr are over some of us are want for something to celebrate—something to really go wild over.  So, after numerous letters to the editor inquiring about holidays to celebrate in the month of November, we at the Yemen Observer did some research and came up with the following brief list of days that we believe should be celebrated:
* Plan Your Epitaph Day (November 2)
* U.S. National Traffic Directors’ Day (November 3)
* Sandwich Day:  Birth Anniversary of John Montague, the Fourth Earl of Sandwich (November 3, 1718)
* Saxophone Day (November 6)
* Bittersweet Chocolate With Almonds Day (November 7)
* Cook Something Bold and Pungent Day (November 8)
* World Kindness Day (November 13)
* African Industrialization Day (November 20)
* International Aura Awareness Day (November 22)
* U.S. National Survivors of Suicide Day (November 22)  And in between those days, when life seems dull and Qat just doesn’t lift your spirits like it used to, we recommend you consider the entire month of November a special time because it is:
* Diabetic Eye Disease Month
* Orphan Disease Month
* I Am So Thankful Month
* Gluten-Free Diet Awareness Month
* Premature Birth Awareness Month
* International Drum Month
* U.S. National Pomegranate Month
* U.S. National Peanut Butter Lovers’ Month
