Four New Canning factories for Agricultural Products

SANA'A- Four canning factories for agricultural products in Tahama, Dhamar, Lahaj and Marib are to be set up as part of the Cooperative Agricultural Union's (CAU) investment projects for this year.
Ahmed Abdullah, the CAU Director of  Public Relations, said that the union plans to carry out 19 projects to improve agricultural development at a total cost of about YR2billion.
The CAU is currently carrying out the second phase of an information network system to link all offices of the union across the country with exporting centers, he said.
The union has built offices in Hodiedah, Amran, Dhamar, Aden and Hadhramaut, he added.
The official added that the union will establish nine new animal projects in Mahweet, Taiz, Hodiedah, Al-Jouf, Hadhramaut, Al-Maharah, Abyan, Ibb and Shabwa governorate, at a cost of YR 412,767,000.
