The General Woman’s Sports Administration, at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, is organizing the first Creative Female Yemeni Forum to be held until mid- July. Nora al-Jirwi, the Woman’s Administration’s general director, said that the girls who are participating in the forum will show their Koran recitation abilities together with other science skills, poetry, novel, music, and singing as well as applied sciences.
Yemeni governorates will be participating and al-Jirwi said that the Woman’s Administration seeks to make the forum successful by forming a number of committees, adding that the organization aims at increasing the number of creative women, by sharing their experience and knowledge.
There will also be debates, lectures, cultural and sport contests within the forum’s functions. A plastic art exhibition, in addition to handicrafts and distinctive Yemeni folklore demonstrations will also be exhibited alongside the Forum.
