YR10 Billion Allocated for Sa’adah reconstruction

In implementation from President Ali Abdullah Saleh, the Board of Directors of Sa’adah Construction Fund (SCF) approved on Wednesday allocating YR 10 billon for reconstructing damaged areas in the governorate.

The Board’s meeting headed by its chairman, the Prime Minister Ali Mujawar, emphasized the necessity to consider the priorities of the reconstruction process and urged all ministries and the concerned bodies to contribute to rebuilding Sa’adah governorate through the projects’ allocations approved in the ministries.

The meeting called upon donor countries and organizations to contribute to finance and support reconstruction efforts. The meeting aimed to provide urgently of needed basic supplies to 20,000 people in Sa’adah governorate and Harf Sufain district of Amran governorate.

The Board assigned Minister of Health and Minister Electricity to pay field visits next week to determine the reconstruction priorities.
