An authorized source in Abdulmalik al-Houthi’s office has threatened the advent of a ‘sixth deadly war’.
The source said in a statement published by the insurgent leader’s office in Sa’adah, that the authorities launched five previous wars against them which all failed to achieve their goals to eliminate them, adding that if the authorities did not learn their lesson from these previous wars, the sixth will be a most deadly encounter.
A Houthi source belittled the authority’s threats that the truce has been violated, saying that it is gossip which they are used to hearing from the authorities. Houthis allege that those who have breached the truce are the authorities, adding that, “Everyone knows that we are committed to peace and the release of Abdulmalik al-Houthi, last Thursday, 25 prisoners came as evidence to our credibility, though they are the ones who came to fight us in our homes, breaching all previously reached agreements.”
He continued to say that there is a saying that calls for wisdom so as not to be stung twice in the same place. He said that the government was stung for the fifth time and that the sixth would be fatal.
Sa’adah Governor, Hassan Mana’, accused the Houthis of preparing for a sixth round of fighting, in an effort to stop the Sa’adah rehabilitation and restoration efforts. The ruling party’s website mentioned Mana’s accusations of truce violations and his holding them accountable for the continuous attacks against military positions.
In a related issue, a Houthi source said that the authorities’ propaganda is currently repeating, saying that the Houthis deal drugs to buy weapons. He claimed that these allegations are unrealistic and ....
reveal what has become of the authorities and their lack of resourcefulness, driving them to fall victim to derogatory, childish ways, looking for conspiracies, propaganda, and myths.
The source added that the community knows that the Houthis stopped smuggling to Saudi Arabia because they were holding to the common borders, saying that Saudi Arabia has felt this effect. He explained that they embrace Qur’anic culture and that they are committed to religious beliefs.
