Constitutional Court Judges hear cases for appeal in lawsuit involving the Chamber of Commerce.
The Constitutional Court decided on postponing the case involving the Chamber of Commerce until to next June.

The capital’s Chamber of Commerce filed for the case over the unconstitutionality of the sales tax law number 19 of 2001. The was case postponed for considering whether the chamber’s lawyer abided by the previous court’s decision that was presided over by Supreme Court’s head and head of the high judiciary board, Esam al-Samawi.

The court received a copy of the altered lawsuit and a package containing 69 documents.

The constitutional circuit has obligated the Chamber to reformulate their lawsuit because of the recent emergent amendments on the law, which are included in their lawsuit.

The court also obliged the suitors to correct the court’s name into the Supreme Court, as mentioned in the constitution, instead of the Court of Appeal and Acknowledgement.

The Constitutional Circuit Court obligated the suitors to abide by the petitions’ form and stay away from the English translations for the constitutional texts and to mention only the contested texts.
