Two women were killed and five others were seriously injured last Thursday July 10, during luxurious trip to Wuraf.
The accident took place when Yasen al-Maqtri, along with his mother, his wife, his daughter and two of his grandchildren, wanted to climb the hill with his car and enjoy the sightseeing from the top of the hill. Unfortunately, they went backwards and rolled down to the bottom of Wuraf mountain, said Basam Abdul-Bary al-Wahsh, a close relative of al-Maqtri.
Al-Maqtri’s mother and his wife died during the accident; he and the rest of the family that were with him in the car, resulted seriously injured. He got his hands, legs and back broken. The daughter and grandchildren got several scratches and injuries but they were not as serious as al-Maqtri’s, added al-Wahsh.
Al-Maqtri has got a modern automatic car. Him and his family decided last Thursday July 10 to go out in a luxurious trip to Wuraf, in Ibb district, where one can view the natural fascinating beauty of not only the city and the surrounding areas, which nowadays tempts and lures everyone of its residents, but also its visitors and its passers by.
At this place, everyone gets crazy about going out to enjoy the sightseeing from over the hilltops and mountain peaks, but also because it is possible to enjoy this view while being very far from other people’s eyes, for example, far from Taiz and Tehama. But it sounds that the fate was waiting for this family and took them before they enjoyed the sights.
