Customs authorities at Houdeidah seaport captured on Monday a quantity of narcotics estimated at tons of kilograms hidden carefully inside a container belonging to a Yemeni businessman.
A source at the port clarified to almotamar.net that when the two containers carrying electric boilers were weighed, a big weight difference was discovered between them although they were equal in cargo. He pointed out that this made the director general of the port’s customs to give his instructions to search the container, thus discovering a great quantity of drugs inside the boilers.
The source said that security authorities retained the drugs seized and detained those in charge of this attempt of traffic, thus setting the beginning of the investigations.
