The Yemeni Coastguard has captured a Pakistani ship in the Gulf of Aden carrying three tons of hashish.  According to security sources, a U.S military vessel intercepted the boat in international water as it was heading for the Yemeni coast, and then handed it over to Yemen's Coastguard Authority.

Meanwhile, about 16 Pakistanis were referred last September to the State Security Court in Sana'a. The men were accused of bringing 12 tons of hashish into the country with the intent of distributing it.
