Yemen, Djibouti discuss joint-efforts to combat piracy

Yemen and Djibouti discussed on Saturday the necessity of coordinating both countries efforts with international forces to combat piracy and secure international navigation in the region. 

Deputy Premier for Defense and Security Affairs Rashad al-Alimi held talks with Djiboutian Foreign Minister of Mahmoud Ali Yousef over the situation in Somalia and Horn of Africa, in addition to the acts of piracy in the Red Sea. 

The meeting also reviewed the latest regional and international developments, as well as bilateral relations between the two countries.
