The Training Institute of Yemeni Coastguard Authority (YCA) inaugurated on Saturday in Aden the training program for 2009.
The program includes holding three qualitative courses for 110 of YCA’s officers and individuals in the fields of ports security and maritime navigation for 9 months in addition to a two-month English language course.
The institute’s Director, Captain Faisal al-Haj told Saba that the courses aim to promote the competence YCA members, and capabilities in the fields of technical sciences, hopefully enabling them to carry out their everyday tasks to serve their country.
