Yemen’s Ministry of the Interior said Thursday that security authorities in the district of Hadibu on Socotra Island had found the wreckage of a small pilotless aircraft in the area of Momi.

The Ministry clarified that the initial remains included the plastic skeleton of the aircraft, one wing and the tail, which included the writing, in English ‘surveillance plane’. Following a sweep of the area authorities found the remaining parts.

The Ministry added that the drones’ body was sent to a naval brigade command stationed in the Socotra archipelago for examination.
