Yemen's penal Court sentence three of Bani Hushaish 3rd group to death

The State Penal Court sentenced three defendants to death and another 6 to up to 5-15 years in jail ,  on Tuesday, after convicting them of forming an armed gang and carrying out killing and sabotage acts in Bani Hushaish area.

 

The 9 defendants were among the 3rd group of Bani Hushaish's sabotage gang.

                                   

Abdul-Rahman Rashid Ahmed Yahya al-Maziji,Rajeh Yahya Hussein Ali al-Hanami andGaradi Saleh Mohsen al-Garadi  awarded death sentence  for their roles in forming armed gang and carrying out killing and sabotage acts in Bani Hushaish.

 

Another 6 defendants received 5-15-year jail sentences.

 

In the first trial, the prosecution accused the 9 defendants of drawing plans to carry out killing, bombing and sabotage acts as well as endangering the homeland's security and stability.

 

They also were accused of preparing the necessary equipments of heavy and small arms, ammunitions, rockets and grenades.

 

Two days ago the same court sentenced seven of al-Huthi followers to death .

More than 150 people who joined the so called “subversive gang” in Bani Hushaish are being tried for armed confrontations with the government.
