Al-Qaeda and separtist members team up for double trouble

Three al-Qaeda suspects were arrested by the security authorities in Marib province last Saturday, said a security source.

The three suspects, ages 20-29, were arrested in Marib and referred to investigations over suspicion of being members of al-Qaeda.

Meanwhile, subversive separatists fired automatic weapons rounds, and two RPG projectiles at a military contingent stationed Sunday night in Jabal Khanfar, as well as opening fire in Ja'r and running away, sources at local authorities in Abyan Governorate said. 

Security sources said that the elements that attacked the contingent and the central at Ja'r are from the groups wanted by the security, including Tariq Tamah and Ali Saif Mohammed. There are 4 persons on top of them al-Qaeda member Sami Fadl Dian. They have entered Ja'r city in a plate-less Toyota vehicle belonging to Taher Tamah.

The terrorists, led by Sami Dian, stole a gas locomotive on Monday, belonging to the Yemeni businessman Tawfiq Abdulrahim in al-Jol area. They detached the locomotive head and left the trailer behind in al-Jol area. The terrorists landed the driver in Nakhlin area, and headed with the locomotive head to Habil Jabr Directorate and it is now in Ali Saif's house. Tariq al-Fadhli has announced launching the stones intifada in the south parallel to the Intifada in Palestine.

Another separatist group stole a Suzuki car belonging to citizen Kamal Ahmed Salem in Aden Hadramout route as he was heading to Aden. They took the car to an unknown place. 

 A local authority source in Lahj said that a separatist group of five, led by Abdo Salem from Taher Tamah and Ali Saif elements threatened owners of shopkeepers from the northern provinces and asked them to close down their shops or to pay money in exchange for allowing them to open their shops.
