Brigadier Mohammed Yahia al-Haori, the Chairman of the Boarder Cease Fire Implementation Committee, described a message that the higher security committee recently sent to al-Houthi rebels. In the message, the government has given the rebels 12 days, starting from Saturday February 27, to complete the remainder of the provisions set out in the “Six Conditions” necessary to end the conflict. There are some feelings within the government that the rebels have been procrastinating in the provisions’ implementation.

“At the beginning of the week, the committee completed the tasks of the first provision in their entirety. Then, on Monday, they began the second stage, including providing the return of looted arms, equipment and prisoners,” Brigadier al-Haori added.

Al-Haori claimed that the committee had completed the first stage, arraigned the cease-fire, opened the routes and was actively engaged in mine removal in the area. Thus far, the joint technical Saudi and Yemeni committee has removed over a hundred mines.

Al-Haori denied any cease-fire violations along the boarder line, however he chastised al-Houthi rebels for prolonging their responsibilities relating to the cease-fire.

The committee’s medical team extracted the bodies of the two missing Saudi soldiers, after the rebels revealed their whereabouts. The bodies were delivered to the Saudis once they bodies were examined.

The examination of a third body found at the foot of Jabal al-Dukhan was done on Sunday under the committee’s supervision. The examination showed no complete traces beyond some hair and minor parts of the body, as the disclosure of the body’s location had been postponed for so long.
