MTN organized an event last Wednesday March 3, 2010 for handing over the awards of the first and second drawing to winners of the charge and win offer for the free trips provided by the company for attending the World Cup 2010 tournaments in South Africa. The company has provided seven free trips. The first award went to Morad Dirham Abdulsalam Al-Khameri from Taiz, while the second trip is won by customer Mohamed Ali Abdulkader Ba Wazir from Hadramout province.
The rewards were handed over by Ibrahim al-Samhi the Company’s Advertising and Publication Director, who gave speech in which he congratulated the winners and wished good luck for those who couldn’t win, emphasizing that there are still opportunities to all to win the free tickets or one of the TV screens, provided weekly by the company through charging a YR 900 card to enter the drawing.
He added that the purpose of the offer is to provide new opportunities to the pre paid customers when charging a YR 900 scratch card, an immediate balance or the electronic account to enter the weekly prize draw for the tickets for attending one of the World Cup matches. There are other additional benefits including obtaining a period of 30-day validity to the customer’s stock, a life reception allowance, and YR 90 encouragement free balance used within the network and for only (24 hours).
He explained that any customer who charges a YR 900 card (scratch cards or the immediate balance-mail) is entitled to entering the drawing to win one of the 7 trips of paid costs for attending the 2010 World Cup matches.
On the other hand, the winners of the first and second free trips expressed their pleasure for the opportunity to enjoy watching the World Cup champions at South Africa stadiums in addition to the tourist trips furnished to them by the company. They commended the MTN Company’s credibility and their encouragement to their customers through the many offers and prizes.
