Tribesmen have kidnapped the brother of the head of Supreme Judicial Court (SJC) Esam al-Samawi, security source said on Saturday.
According to a source close to the al-Samawis, the tribesmen kidnapped Asem al-Samawi, a director in the Ministry of Public Health and Population, while he was leaving the ministry.
The abduction was carried out by an armed group of the Bani Dhabian tribe from Sana’a governorate after a lethal death was issued against murders from Bani Dhabian who have been convicted of assaulting a plot of land and killing two of its guards.
The sources said that there is mediation from some of the Bani Dhabian tribe to release al-Samawi while the kidnappers accused the judiciary with Corruption.
