Fire breaks out in Taiz, YR7 million in losses

Firefighters in Taiz province put out a fire that erupted in three medication stores, owned by A.A.H ,36, in al-Mudhafar district.

“Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire in the medication stores with no casualties. The material losses were estimated at approximately YR5 million,” said Civilian Defense to Security Information Center.
 
The source added that the heat of the fire caused serious material damage to a nearby medical store causing damage to medications in the store valued at about YR2 million, noting that the initial investigation into the incident revealed that an electrical circuit was the cause.
