Gunmen kill Yemeni soldiers

Gunmen have ambushed Yemeni forces in the southern province of Lahj, killing an officer and three soldiers and wounding four other soldiers, an official source has said.

The source of the Lahj security committee said that a group of subversive elements had assaulted a number of the army personnel as they were on duty in Habilayn district, Lahj.

Speaking to Saba, the source confirmed that the security services are currently pursuing ‘’the perpetrators of this criminal incident, which led to the killing of Major Ali Ghanim al-Amari and soldiers Jalal Saleh al-Samhi, Al-Ezzi Mohamed al-Jaradi and Samir Hussein.
