Yemen President gears up for the National Dialogue, appoints advisers

President Hadi issued late on last Sunday a presidential decree appointing a national dialogue working party which will be tasked with engaging different Yemeni factions with the National Dialogue which stands as the second phase of the GCC plan.
The decree stated that forming the working party was to gear up for the preparing committee to be formed no later than June 30.
The working group was comprised of around eight people, with four of whom also appointed as advisers for Hadi. The main advisors included Abdulwahab al-Anesi, the Secretary General of Islah Party; Abdulkareem al-Eryani, Secretary General of General People’ Congress (GPC); and Yaseen Saeed No’aman, Secretary General of the Yemeni Socialist Party.
