Colonel Abdul Wahab al-Wali, head of the central security forces in Mukullah of Hadramout province, was targeted yesterday by unknown suicide bombers while he was on his way to the compound in Rawkab district eastward Mukallah city, in south east of Yemen, the Interior Ministry reported on Sunday.
Local sources say that the attack was carried out by bomb blast, followed by armed conflict before a second explosion.
Sources said that al-Wali is safe but two of his escort guards were killed and four injured.
