Yemen seizes military materiel

 Port of Hodeidah security services seized a consignment of security and military equipment on Sunday, arriving on a ship from China.

The equipment was imported illegally, according to Brach Net newspaper.

 A security source told Brach Net that the consignment contained shields, bullet-proof protective vests and helmets.

 The source mentioned that the freight originated in China and belongs to a company called Ritaj.

 Last month a consignment of gun-sights had been discovered at Hodeidah port on  a ship also from China.
