The Egyptian Culture Center in Sana’a organized a symposium titled “Arabian Press Development” that is to be held tomorrow, Wednesday April 30 at the Dr. Shoqi Dhaif Hall at the Egyptian Culture Center. Dr. Hussien al-Amri, member of Shura Council, and Mojahed al-Ashmawi, Media Advisor at Queen Arwa University, will give two lectures on the stages and phases of development of the press in the Arab World.
Culture Attaché of the Egyptian Embassy in Sana’a, Dr. Riadh Omara, said that this symposium will shed light on important pivots in the development and growth of the press in the Arab World in quality and quantity. He also said that the lectures are going to talk about the essential role played by the press in raising awareness among citizens, and how it played a strong role in documenting and preserving the memory of the Arabian Nation and the history of its struggle.
