The man accused of killing 7 people and seriously injuring 6 others, die on Monday in Aden province, said Aden security director, Brigadier Abdullah Musa'ad Qairan. He was arrested when he shot fire on citizens in the Sheikh Othman market last week.

Qairan mentioned that the name of the dead accused was Abdu Mohammed al-Harazi,  45 years old of Rayma province and living in Aden. He died at 4 PM after being transferred to al-Goumhori hospital for treatment. "He was suffering from intractable diseases, maybe hepatitis or cancer," he added. However, he preferred to wait for the forensic report.

The victims' number of the citizens in the market has risen from five to seven dead after the death of two in the hospital. Another died later affected by a serious injury.

Qairan confirmed that the security forces arrested and interrogated him after the accident."It is a criminal incident that has nothing to do with the events of the sit-in that took place recently in the province of Aden," he said. He noted that the accused worked in the sale of Al-Mawez (wrap-around Yemeni skirt for men) in the Sheikh Othman market and suffered from psychological problems. The same person had been accused 4 years ago of killing one man and injuring others, and was release from prison.
