Many Yemeni artists took part in the loyalty day to celebrate the anniversary of making President Saleh the president of the country.

The festival has been conducted by the Ministry of Culture and held at the Yemeni Cultural House. Celebrating this day can be considered as an act to thank the President for all his doings to improve the country.

It included many activities, among them, around 50 dancers preformed Yemeni dances wearing the Yemeni traditional clothes of all the governorates. Moreover, a group of the National Center of Creative for Handicraft of the Ministry of Culture (NCCH) joined the festival by making a ring of Yemen’s unique and valuable agate.

“This work, which is a big ring that comes from an idea proposed by the Ministry of Culture, will be given to the President during the festival as a way to thank him for his hard work serving this country,” said Abdul-Razq Rashed, the director of  NCCH. “This work was done by famous artists in the NCCH. By doing such thing, we want to deliver a message filled with profound meaning.”

The ring, which has a big colorful lobe, was done with silver and brazier.

Any one contemplating the ring will be able to appreciate the fact that it is an antique which consists of many epigraphs, among them, the emblem of the Republic of Yemen and drawings of the golden eagle in the sides of the ring.

Drawing the emblem of Yemen aims at emphasizing the achievement of the goals of the Republic of Yemen.

The artists that created this ring, needed around one month to finish it. The idea of doing was introduced by Khaled Daweah.
