US President George W. Bush awarded on Wednesday a certificate of merit for the Yemeni student Raouf Abdul Salam al-Jumai for obtaining distinguished marks in the high school for the educational year 2007-2008.
His total marks were 98 percent which encouraged famous universities like Cambridge University to offer him a scholarship.
The student was granted the certificate signed by US President George W. Bush on a festival held in Williamsburg Charter High School in New York.
