Yemeni-Qatari Insurance Company inaugurates new branch

The Yemeni- Qatari Insurance Company celebrated its first insurance branch in Yemen.

At the celebration, a member of the company’s administrative council delivered a speech saying that the main reason the company was established was to gain experience in the international market.

He added that the company’s main interest is to cooperate with existing companies in Yemen and to share its experience to help these companies get into action.  He disclosed that the Yemeni branch will be run by a Qatari administration.

General Director Salim Zaidan also gave a few remarks at the event.  He expressed that their company is looking forward to serving the Yemeni insurance market in order to develop and improve its services.  Furthermore, he said the company will offer all kinds of technical and administrative support to increase the public awareness concerning insurance.

Zaidan added that the company will train its Yemeni cadre so that they can capably conduct business in the future.  He also said that the Yemeni-Qatari Insurance Company will keep in contact with local insurance companies in order to help meet their needs.

Zaidan pointed out that the company’s planned collaborative efforts were mainly for the purpose of getting the company’s name out into the market.
