Special Olympics Yemen bigger, better and more active

The Yemeni Special Olympics is in full gear preparing for the national competition to be kicked off on February 23.Hundreds of Yemeni special Olympic athletes are training throughout the country in four games: soccer, racing, Ping Pong and Potchi . Nada al-Absi spoke at the graduation ceremony of the training of trainers held last week that the training received was very useful and the equipment presented to the 27 trainees will contribute tremendously at engaging more special athletes in the upcoming championship. Also, the seven governorates and more than 20 centers will participate in the event for the first time in Yemen.
