Girls school marks annual anniversary

Al-Nizari Girls School celebrated the distinguished honors students for the academic year 2009/2010 last Tuesday.

The Minister of Endowments and Guidance, Sheikh Hamoud al-Hitar, officials from the Ministry of Education and parents, attended the celebration.  Sheikh al-Hitar was nominated by parents to be the chairman of the parents’ council.

Several songs and comedy routines were performed by the schoolgirls.

AL-Nizari school is a public school that has provided success for its students in recent years, while aspiring to many other accomplishments. Principal Fatehia Hamid al-Deen expressed her happiness for the community’s contribution to the success of the school’s activities. Principal al-Deen furthermore thanked the community for their assistance improving the educational process in the school.

She thanked Sheikh Hamoud al-Hitar for attending the festival and for donating books to the library of the school. She also thanked the Social Fund for development for their contribution in training the school’s staff and for providing the different laboratories.
