SabaFon announced that the number of its subscribers have raised to over 3.5 million in 2010.
This was announced by the Executive Director of Saba Fon Tariq al-Haidari on the occasion of celebrating the 9th anniversary of establishing the first mobile company in Yemen.
Al-Haidari described the success achieved by the company as prosperous success due to the successful strategy being adopted by the company since its establishment in 2001 to be the first and greatest mobile phone operator in Yemen.
Al-Haidari related this success to the increasing demand of the Yemeni people for the amazing services and unique offers provided by the company, a matter that made Saba Fon get the greatest share in the Yemeni communication market.
On this occasion Saba Fon honored its distinguished employees. The honoring ceremony was attended by the Chairman Sheikh Hamid al-Ahmar.
Al-Ahmar said many challenges faced the company but were overcome thanks to the hard work of the company’s staff.
Al-Ahmar praised the effort made by the distinguished employees who cooperate together and were able to keep up the company performance since the company was established nine years ago.
Sabafon Chairman, Sheikh Hamid al-Ahmar, said that within years to come, the company will exceed the number of subscribers to be 5 million, marking the biggest numbers ever among other companies.
Al-Ahmar said that the contracted employees will be integrated into the company to be primary employees.
