Yemen Airways has from day one receiving the information regarding the Air-miss with Air Austral has opened an investigation and is in coordination with the appropriate Civil Aviation authorities in Yemen, Republic of the Comoros and Madagascar.
Meanwhile, Yemenia would like to present the following factual information:
1. There is no Yemenia flight operated on the 22nd August 2010 to HAH
2. Yemenia operated 2 flights on the 24th August 2010 with A330 and B738 None of which indicated activation of RA (TCAS Resolution Advisory)
3. Both aircrafts received descent clearance from ATC and not as claimed to have descended without ATC clearance.
4. In order to facilitate the investigation process, we would appreciate if the BEA and Air Austral could provide us with information in regard to the activation of the RA on the Air Austral B777.
Yemenia preserves full rights to pursue Legal Actions due to the image damage caused by such allegations without proper investigation.
