Many issues will head the agenda of dialogue, which is scheduled to resume soon between the political parties and organizations. But what should be emphasized and given a priority, whether in this round of dialogue or otherwise, by the party and political matrix is to strengthen the national unity and bridges of trust. Differences in points of view should not be let to lead this matrix to overcome the logic of differences in visions and interpretations and to fall into the abyss of difference that totally clashes with the spirit of democracy, its ethics and values.

Democracy has allowed us an honest political competition in order to provide the best for the country and people. At the same time, it has made this basis the overarching framework which organized the constructive partnership in carrying the national responsibility. The majority has played its role in assuming responsibilities and burdens of governance and implementing its program, which won the voters’ trust. However, a minority exercises its role in the opposition and adopts alternatives and options that would enable them to achieve an effective presence in the arena and to convince people with their points of view and win their votes in the upcoming election.

So this competition is an incentive to persevere in serving the country, to protect its principals and achievements and to strengthen its unity and social fabric. If, however, this competition is understood as a marathon to reap the party gains and self-interests, or if it is turned into an instrument of hostility and crises that harm the public interests of society, so it becomes a devastating tool to damage the political life and national cohesion.

It is therefore important for parties of the party and political process to turn toward the dialogue and to be this time armed with awareness and perceived understanding of challenges. They should also sincerely believe in the fact that everyone is concerned to create the appropriate environment that would make the dialogue successful and to unite the capacities to meet those challenges and overcome difficulties.

In other words, it is required to make the dialogue base on a firm belief that the national unity is the practical way to secure the Yemen’s present and future and the real guarantee to develop Yemen and to achieve the aspirations of its people. We believe that if all have this satisfaction, political parties and organizations will not find a difficulty to access a creative agreement on the various issues.

The party matrix on the national arena can benefit from a large rate of experiences to be helped understanding the current stage and the fact that the homeland is for all. It can also understand that the citizenship has imposed on parties, which provide a cover for practices outside law, to review their positions rather than to attempt justifying for acts of vandalism and hooligans. Those parties stand silent towards the elements that restore to promote divisions and to create chaos and crises. Those elements also try to undermine security and stability and to sow dissension and hatred among people, just to serve their suspicious goals and petty schemes.

So when these parties stand silent, it means that they abandon their responsibilities in facing such deviant practices that target the national constants and dare the great principles which are achieved by generous precious sacrifices. Yemeni people make every effort to achieve freedom, independence, unity, development and progress for their homeland.

It is not right for some people to restore to such attitudes, whether they want to oppose the ruling party or in order to achieve political, party or anti-interests, believing that it is an alternative. The alternative will be no more than chaos and falling into a bottomless chasm. It is therefore imperative for everyone to know that the national issues should not be dealt depending on personal interests.

Who thinks he can change his positions should realize that the homeland and its principals are surrounded by red lines to say no neutrality and no deceptive tactics. Who supports his homeland, the homeland will support him.

Certainly, sitting on the table of dialogue is an opportunity to review and to be controlled by mind in order to unite our rows and to make the country’s interest at first.

No matter how hard those connected to the devil to create crises and to make an estrangement between the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) and the Authority. No matter how hard they have accomplished of tasks, related to their planned target, to undermine security, stability and social peace. No matter also how hard they try to show their patriotism to allow their patient thoughts more opportunities to create crises and problems.

We say no matter what they do because they are totally disclosed before all the effective national forces. Therefore, any step to escalate crises will only be faced before it is being happened.

This is the real response to these elements which have become disclosed and disappointed. All calls of sedition and discord fell and crashed on the rock of the national forces and their coherence.

These elements do not understand the Yemeni wisdom to retreat from their constant encroachment on the self-united Yemen. They do not realize that they no longer reflect a strong presence in the Yemeni arena. Therefore, they will undoubtedly find themselves in the worst results of their acts.
